I had taken this photo of an old lady in a nearby Darjeeling Tea garden with my previous SLP800 manual cam. Hope you like it. This lady had been working as a tea plucker for decades and lived life quite the hard way, but not a single sign of regret could be traced – I guess she is content with whatever she had in life. I wish we all were made of the same clay believing in “being content with what one has in life”, but alas… A tribute to all the women tea workers in all of the Darjeeling Tea gardens. She is about 90+ and tells stories about her life as a tea plucker. It just took about an hour for her to narrate her life span happenings in brief, and I was later pondering upon how she actually spent it in real terms, living each and every moment!
The smoothness finally rests and goes green – One inevitable circle of life! Live Righteously! Live Well!
